COOKING CLASS

Arrived at County House Il Frescale on the Amalfi Coast, the first thing you will notice is that it is immersed in the greenery of the valleys of the Regional Park of Monti Lattari. You will be surrounded by Tintore vines and centuries-old chestnut trees.

To start, as a welcome to our farmhouse, there will be an aperitif with local and traditional Mediterranean cuisine products. After that, our journey will begin with a visit to the garden and the collection of seasonal products, all surrounded by our centuries-old Tintore vines.

The most anticipated moment: getting hands-on with the dough!

1) Marilena and Rosa will show you how to prepare the dough, explaining the various steps. While they cook, they will tell you the stories and anecdotes of the traditions of the typical Tramontana and Cilentana cuisine, passed down from their maternal grandmother, from whom the Mediterranean diet originates.

2) You will then taste the dishes prepared with ancient recipes, accompanied by our Tintore wine, produced and curated by Alfonso, who earned the title of 3rd level Sommelier in 2005, thanks to his passion.

3) Next comes the dessert, respecting our local traditions and representing the pastry of the Amalfi Coast farmers, paired with our own sweet white wine.

4) To complete your sensory experience with local products, we will show and taste the homemade "ratàfie" made with the aromatic herbs from our garden. You will surely be amazed and delighted to be able to reproduce our recipes at your own home!

PIZZA CLASS

Arriving at the Country House il Frescale, nestled in the green valleys of Tramonti, surrounded by centuries-old vines and chestnut trees, we await you for a welcome aperitif featuring our locally sourced products.

Once settled, our fantastic experience will begin, which includes a visit to the garden for the collection of ingredients used in the preparation of the day's pizzas, all expertly explained by Alfonso, the son who has completed courses with the Pizza Doc Academy and is a member of the Pizza Tramonti Association.

He will share the story of the local pizza, how it originated, and the various steps in the dough preparation, dough ball shaping, pizza stretching, topping, and baking. At the end of the tour, each participant will have the opportunity, with the guidance of our Master Pizzaiolo, to bake their own pizza and enjoy it with our Tintore wine.

Save a little room for the traditional dessert from the Amalfi Coast pastry and toast with the sweet wine from the farmhouse.

To complete your sensory experience with locally sourced products, we will show you and let you taste our house-made herbal liqueurs produced with aromatic herbs from our garden.

You will certainly be surprised and amazed at being able to recreate our recipes even at your own home.
